Timbaweb Diseño Páginas Web phostorm is the best phl ide with js, css, typescript, coffescript and html support. You should use it for developing php applications.

When I was leaning php i used notepad++. Since i used visual studio code, i never thought of changing my editor. If you are looking for an IDE go for NetBeans
