Which version of JavaScript is the standard for developers now?

There seems to be a new version of JavaScript, I.e. Ecmascript, every year, for example: ES 6, ES 2016, ES 2018. JavaScript 5 seemed to be the standard for a long time. What version of JavaScript do browsers currently use ? Secondly, will there be different versions of TypeScript along the lines of JavaScript?

es6 and 2015 is same thing. es6 is standard. newest form is 2018 but takes a while for the extra features to be standard.
