Java form

I have a java code where if a field is empty it shows an alert, else it send information to a database and set files back to blank,it works fine but, even when shows the alert it sets the fields back to blank. I don't have the code on my phone so I wrote a similar code on html and JavaScript, this one is working though,I'm kind of lost with the other https://code.sololearn.com/WnH7088HfDDP/?ref=app
