Is Kotlin able to replace Java anywhere?

I was wondering if it's possible to refractor every single line of code written in Java to Kotlin. And if it's possible, should we developers look forward to the benefits Kotlin provides and see this as a job opportunity for the future?

You can convert Java to Kotlin, but doing so means a full retest of the code. No refractor program is error free. Some code must be modified by hand. Therefore, even if Java were to die today and never get a new program created in it. It would be decades before Java programmers would have trouble getting a job. Companies will not replace perfectly running programs in a different language. It costs way more than it is worth.
