"Why there is so many programming languages?" - probably because of some enthusiast that needed some extra functionality, or just wanted to build a new language for fun. Let me ask: why so many different religions? And now we are confused which one to choose...

I think the thing missing in some of your replies is that all computer languages are tools and like any other type of tools they can me more or less specialised. If you have a particular task in mind then certain languages may do that simply and efficiently while others will struggle. Often a tool can do a task it was not specifically designed for but the best work is done when the tool matches the task. There is no one tool that does everything well.

"Is there any language which is capable of everything?" Yes, many of them are. It's called "Turing-completeness". Just some languages are better at something other languages are bad at.

I've tried some different languages, but the more i did, the more i liked Python - the first programming language i really enjoyed! I think, it is rather universal, but just a bit slowly sometimes.

I believe all languages are capable of doing everything, but the approach becomes different for different languages. Each language had it's own syntax and this making all of them different from each other but to make a program work we use algorithms. These algorithms can be used with any language and that's why I believe anything can be done if you have a good command over a language.

No, all languages are capable of their own things. If there was a language that was capable of everything then all the other languages wont have any use!
