Web application consist of two major modules which is front end and back end. Front end deals with the UI/UX like html, jsp, etc. If you know these technologies you are front end developer. similarly backend deals with server side coding and scripting like nodejs, expressjs, databases n all. if you know these technologies you are back end developer. If you know both yje front and back end development, you are a full stack developer. A person who can deal with both front end and back end.
