Absulote and relative links

could you please help me understand the difference between those with an example?

Relative links are taken from the current path - e.g. when you are on www.test.com/des/ and your link contains "test.html" is document expected at "www.test.com/des/test.html", when you have "../test.html" is expected on "www.test.com/test.html". Absolute links are simple - just enter full URL.
