¿Which language should I pick first?

Question

A friend of mine at school introduced me to coding / programming and now I think I fell in love with it. I downloaded this app to help me learn, but it scares me to see so many languages. My friend recommended I start with JavaScript / Java or Phyton. In a near future I would like to be able to comfortably create apps & video games.
What do you recommend?

java for android apps. c++ for games.
fyi java and JavaScript are not the same.

I think if you are new better is trying html to understand what is programmig.

c++ and js (they are very similar and javascript is used for web design and c++ for computers and games)
