What is the cross platform framework
Somebody tell me every programming language have different quality he tell that erlang programming language is for the development of instant messaging app like whatsapp. in java to develop messaging app we can't it. It is true. I don't know about coding or programming language. But I love to know new thing.

You cant really know much if you dont get your hands dirty. I can try to explain you for example that framework is collection of useful middleware, libraries, and tools and that cross platform means that it can be used on multiple platforms (Windows, MAC, Linux ,Android, iOS).
You mentioned erlang which has OTP (Open Telecom Platform) framework. For example, RabbitMQ (open source message broker software) is using OTP for clustering and failover. And you can build java program to work with RabbitMQ software.
