HTML5 Headers and Footers

Can someone explain headers and footers in HTML5? I don't understand it from the lesson or the comments... Edit: Anyone?

DrChicken24, a header in HTML5 is simply a header such as you would see on the SoloLearn page at the very top (Courses, Code Playground, Discuss, Top Learners, etc.) A header simply put contains h1-h6 titles, navigation links, and authorship information. A footer in HTML5 is the content at the very bottom of the page, such as the SoloLearn's Twitter link, Facebook link, and anything else at the bottom of the page below the black bar that says "Learn Playing. Play Learning". Hope this helps. CovenantFx

The main idea of both elements is that firstly; the header tags is usually inserted in the body but are top,(like a first paragraph of a page) it usually contains the heading of a page like a topic header and so many other things...you can customise yours as u wish but they always remain at the top while the footer tags is always at the bottom end, like the last piece of the page....its contains the copyright section, some info too...you can also customise it too but they always stay at the bottom
