For this app I agree, start with HTML and CSS. Those are web developing languages and they are quite easy to learn. However, if you are hoping to learn programming for a real purpose, like a job, then I would suggest that you first decide exactly what you plan do with the programming skills. Then figuring out the proper language to learn will be much easier.
