Do big companies (google, Microsoft, amazon) hire “specialized” programmers? Fro example, a specialized android developer?

I’m learning java and have currently gotten hooked to android development using android studio. Would big companies hire someone who’s found their “niche” in programming? Thanks.

Most programmers usually specialize in one area, that is very common. And that does not mean that later you can not learn to develop for other platforms or technologies. Regarding if a large company can hire you, I think it's very subjective. I mean, there are several factors that can influence there, but in any case the payment of a developer (focused on mobile platforms) is usually not low compared to other areas of development.

What do you mean by specialized? They just want people who have knowledge of some extra frameworks

Thank you. I’m sorry it sounds and most likely is a subjective question. I can see how there would be did factors based on the situation.
