How much slowdown would a website receive if we use CSS3 animations?

Or will it be really negligible? has any performance analysis studies done about this?

it won't slow it as much as Javascript does so don't worry.

As it all happens inside the browser, it’s sure it will be fast, but, how fast, smooth and stable will it be? It all depends on the graphics processor of the device in which your HTML5-CSS3 site is being browsed on.

Depends on the internet connection and the amount of the files

It also depends on how compressed the css file is, hence reducing its size. That could be done by deleting whitespaces from ur css code.
