0: your laptop model doesn't matter. your os may be.
1: try to find out, maybe you already have it with your python installed. in console (with python launched) or in IDLE type:
import numpy
and see if there any error, if not - you already have it and can import it like this.
2: if you have an error, open console and type:
pip install numpy
if you run Linux, 'sudo' might be needed.
3: after installation, try to check it once again
4: if still got problems, try to google it. often you can find solutions on the first page
