This is somebody's opinion, which seems reasonable. I'm willing to bet there are others that are completely unknown that are just as good.

John Wells is right, I’m sure there are greater programmers than we know, they have just not been seen. Perhaps one day they will shine though. But maybe being good without being famous, is the way to go.
