Is C++ kind of outdated or is it still very innovative? What kind of softwares can it create?

I would love to know the wide range of benefits of C++. I'd appreciate any opinion on this.

Rust is the most modern language which does similar things to C++. I haven't looked much at it, can't tell you about its advantages and disadvantages.

But C++ is still evolving, it's not outdated. You can do games, operating systems, web browsers...
