I would say it's the ability to think of common problems (outside programming) in a logical fashion more easily since you're already in the habit of breaking down problems into logical steps. If not that I'd say it at least keeps our skills sharp, although too much code can be unhealthy as well. I like to save my last thought in a "TODO:" comment then go take a hike or something. So I can detach my thought from the code and let my mind rest without worrying I'll forget where I was at in the code.

Yes, I think we do get an extra unique ability which is to think beyond what a normal person thinks while problem solving and many other day to day tasks. Coding basically develops our mind to work more efficiently it keeps our mind active. I would like to tell you a small story. So, I am new to SoloLearn and all this coding stuff. Before writing this answer I used to type by tapping on my smartphone but while typing I realised that it will consume alot of time to write this answer or I have to compromise with my answer and I would have written a small answer over this. NOW HERE COMES THE ADVANTAGE OF CODING I thought a bit and found that I can use SWIPE TO TYPE feature for typing this much without compromising with my answer. LOL🤣🤣 It can be Lame but here is all what I thought Thank you😎 and one more thing if you like what i said don't forget to hit that like button because this encourage me 🤣🤣🤣
