Is Javascript very necessary for a web page? Funny though but trying look for way around it

If you want to have some interactivity it is essential. If you did the experiment of switching off JavaScript in your browser than you will experience that most websites will not work anymore as desired. But if you want to restrict your website to static content you can do this only with html and css.
