Ethics of writing a Sololearn bot...

I'm thinking it wouldn't be too hard to write a bot to complete Sololearn tutorials and challenges but I'm not sure about the ethics and rules on this. At present it would just randomly select between answers and then, on the challenges, learn which ones were correct until it became perfect. Does anyone know if this would be against the Sololearn rules and likely to get me IP blocked etc? Also what things would be important so the bot aids the experience here, and doesn’t become a pest.

@Low Kai Han is there anything in there that relates? Based on your previous statement I am wary and a privacy statement doesn't seem to be the first port of call for a bot that does not use any information not already openly available. Since the title of the document strongly implies it's not relevant, could you tell me why you believe it might be?

@Low Kai Han that article does not address the question in any way and is almost entirely unrelated.

@Low Kai Han A bot as described neither modifies, adapts or hacks the SoloLearn site nor adapts another website, so your answer doesn't make sense. If you want me to read the full article the header should relate to the question.

cause its the only legal statement of sololearn that I could find online. I'm sorry that I can't provide you details on verified laws of sololearn or actions sololearn will take on those who disobey the rules etc. You can mail to info@sololearn.com and ask whether creating a bot in sololearn would result in any punishment or negative impact.

Anyway. Have you heard about discord? You can create chat bot in discord to help a group communicates better and make things interesting. I believe that is far more beneficial than creating a bot to earn points. Try it out if you are interested in creating a bot. https://github.com/reactiflux/discord-irc/wiki/Creating-a-discord-bot-&-getting-a-token You can join the sololearn community in discord and see how the chat bots work: https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/689391/?ref=app

I'm not sure what do you mean. That 'article' I posted is the terms of use from soloearn official site, you can read through it and decide whether or not your idea violates those rules by yourself.
