How has SoloLearn made you a better programmer?

SoloLearn is a really great platform which has helped both amateurs and experts (myself included) to improve their programming skills. Do share how it has made you the great programmer you are now. (From me, there is no best answer by the way; I believe all your answers qualify for best answer, though I chose Serena Yvonne's by popular demand 😉) (For those interested, you can also come join the discussion below on how to make the SL experience even better) https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/464610/?ref=app

I first discovered SL on the Play Store while looking for an app to help me learn Java on the go. After finishing the SL Java tutorial I took my first look at the q&a section. I didn't realize at the time that the q&a section was so active! SL and it's community has really helped me to revive my programming interest / lifestyle and stick to it.

i can honestly say that SL helped me a lot with some other projects i worked on in my studies and even with few courses i had. all those web codes i wrote the past year really helped me to gain a lot of knowledge in javascript, css, html, other JS frameworks and even some aspects in code security and scenarios a programmer needs to be aware of. it also made me realize how much is there more to learn :) so just keep on coding and do what feels good for you 👍

I started learning Python via MOOCs at coursera.org and still deem it one of the best sources. Sololearn, having a different method of teaching through snap lessons and imminent testing felt a bit weird at the beginning. But it has surely helped to structure my knowledge and has shown "small but many" applications of particular code mechanisms. The Code Playground was by far the best feature at the beginning. Peer to peer review, comments, constant exchange of ideas between people - that is what I lacked at professional but distant online video courses. The users are SL's greatest asset, no doubts!

Surely there is no comparison of SOLOLEARN. The method sololearn uses to teach(discussion, code playground, short lesson, quizzes), found no where else. Other platforms like coursera, edx courseGuru, udacity, NPTEL, tutorialpoint, w3school etc all I know have the same method of teaching that has their own importance. But THERE IS A GREAT DIFFERENCE in teaching of SOLOLEARN and all other for making a person more practical and professional

I get into contact with so many programming learners because of which I have learnt a lot about programming through their codes and discussion. There are lots of concepts which I might not have known if didn't get to know about SoloLearn community. What I can say that whatever level of programmer I am today at an age of 14, it is because of SoloLearn only. There is a very little contribution of my teachers and friends in comparison to that of SoloLearn. THANK YOU SOLOLEARN for making me a better programmer

I've personally learnt that collaboration makes a good programmer. I mean look at all the amazing quiz questions and great answers in the Discussions section (not forgetting the awesome codes at the Code Playground). These have literally shaped me up into the programmer I am and I'm thankful to all you guys for that. All of your contributions make SoloLearn truly awesome.

A different approach to learning compared to the norm but helps drive the basic home. Interesting! I am re entering the coding world after studying it at uni in the late 90's but left it altogether to pursue a different field. I am really enjoying SL and trying to do little tasks daily. Code play ground really helps. and its fun.

It made me what I am now.. SoloLearn is the first and greatest step I had in my programming career. And maybe I've been a SoloLearner for 9months.. the time where SoloLearn has an individual app for every language. Have you?

As I had zero experience before I found sololearn. It has opened my eyes and shown me a wonderful addictive world of variables and strings. The lessons teach you enough to get started and thats enough for me to need to go looking for more. The community is what has taught me the most. sharing and explaining there code.
