Eclipse or netbeans for java programming?

I'm not sure which is the best for beginners. Please don't tell me: Use a text editor for write code. Thanks

Out of the two Eclipse seems more professional, but netbeans is very user friendly. Not sure if eclipse does this, but netbeans will suggest removal of redundant or un-needed syntax which is cool if your trying to learn. But ye, Intellij ide is fantastic.

I vote Eclipse. I don't care for Netbeans. I haven't tried intellij, outside of Android studio so I have no real opinion on that one

I voted for #1 because I didn't like #2.. #3 (intellij) was a write in candidate and therefor does not invalidate my vote as the OP asked only about #1 and #2
