Python is old?

Hi,guys. I finished my training in HTML and CSS. And I decided to start learning programming languages. I thought I would learn Python, but I read that it is not a promising old language. What do you recommend to learn the language?

Python was created in the late 1980s, and first released in 1991, by Guido van Rossum as a successor to the ABC programming language. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/ Yes it is an "old" language, but it does not mean you should not learn it, there are many old programming languages that are still powerful and popular today. Moreover, Python is still maintained and used by many until today so it dont make sense to call it not promising. But It depends on you of what you would do with Python. And it depends on what you want to take. If you want Web Development, then learn Web programming languages, if you want Game Dev, Then learn game development programming languages. and so on... Actually, Python is pretty good. You can actually make an amazing thing just with few codes, so you should try learning Python. Also, C is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY older than Python.

There are old versions of python, such as python 2, but it’s not considered old, at least I don’t consider it old. Python 3 is relatively new, and is currenty still being updated. It is a pretty simple language compared to others, yet works effectively. Overall, I would recommend learning Python.
