Where do i write my code?

don't get confused when there is a recommendation to use other ide's than the *sololearn playground*. start with what you can use currently, it works without installation and settings. focus on learning to code.
when you get more advanced you can think about other tools that sololearn does not supply.

If you’re on Android, I recommend QPython. On iOS, I haven’t found any good free python IDEs, but I bought Pythonista and I’m happy with it mostly. I’m thinking about buying PyTo as well. Like I said, the Sololearn sandbox is very unusual and those are a little more normal.

You need to get to code playground, but I don’t exactly remember where…

Edit: Bro? It’s the big green button that says “New code” in the code tab of the Community section. You literally had to switch over to the Discuss tab from there to ask this question. Well, assuming you’re on mobile that is.

OK, I’m sorry. That was a little harsh. By the way, what language are you using? It’s kind of off subject, but the Sololearn sandbox is pretty limited and very unusual with some languages, so if you have a desktop OS machine, I would use that instead.

Wilbur Jaywright would you reccomend using pythonista 3 instead of the sololearn playground??? Im contemplating buying it but would line some input from a private person.

Isak Dadoun Yes, either that or PyTo. PyTo seems sadly less maintained so far (I just bought it), but it supports PyPi while Pythonista does not.

Lothar The Sololearn playground has the potential to confuse pretty badly in my opinion. I hate that it’s designed to treat printing and input as if they are arguments and returns for the script as a giant function. That’s a terrible design and nothing like any other interpreter. Why would using a more normal one be a bad idea or confusing, let alone hearing a suggestion to do so?
