Repetition is learning. You can't just read something and know everything about it. You forget stuff. Therefore repetition. And create mini programs to expand your knowledge even further.

To understand something, you must first read about that. To google something is not copy. In the most cases, it helps you to understand the topic. This rule is for every topic. An Example: Who invented C#? Just with trying and guessing, you will never find the answer. Reading about that, and you will find the answer.

Can't you use what you've learnt to expand your knowledge further, that's the route I took. So I write a mini program, that includes everything in that topic and applying it to a theme

A good developer remember many APIs and its subtle syntax between many client and server languages. If you have to google every time you want specific syntax for a specific language, then you are not efficient. Googling is fine, but dont google excessively. Repetition is one way to remember. With repetition it becomes basic instinct. If you were an employer, would you want someone who is good but googling most of the time to find syntax and copy simple algorithm, or would you want someone who dont google that much?

I guess I would rather have help and support from other humans with interaction and discussion. from the comments above it doesn't seem like i will get that here... so you're telling me I can code programs after doing these tutorials?! All I want to do is understand what I'm doing rather than multiple choice repetition. can't anyone see that?!
