This type of questions should be deleted, it have nothing in common with programming and with JS especially. https://code.sololearn.com/WPmedU1y1oP6/?ref=app

Why does this bother you? There is no such thing as a stupid question, even in terms of simple things such as HTML and CSS. If you are going to bash beginners on a website where they flock to for the purpose of receiving help you probably aren’t welcome here.

The idea of this type of questions is to improve your debugging ability. Finding result before running it improves the ability to think in programming. I believe they are necessary questions.

Mustafa K. LMAO, debugging of +-/* operations? I see only one thing here in SoloLear, that 95% of audience are stucked in something called "tutorial hell" and can't perform something bigger or harder than HTML/CSS. And those kind of questions are silly actually i noticed that (i don't know about other) JS challenges are forcing ppl to degradation.

Questions not only include "just" +-*/ operations but also some confusing variable names and values. This is what makes them good. For newbies they are necessary questions to be solved, for those people to make their first steps into the world of programming. Those might not be difficult for you. You are free to use google, books, encyclopedia whatever you need to dive further in details of programming. So, then I suggest you not to waste your time with these questions if you think you made a progress.

Vladyslav Semeniuk 🐸 I’ve re-read and re-thought, and I’m sure that you are putting beginners down. Just stop, nobody cares.

I had same thought but later i realised it must be for a reason. There is always a reason. The more i think about i could not solve. So, i learned to memorize and utilize my memory in other areas of digital world. It can certainly use in real world too.
