It depends on how you are practicing and your aptitude for learning imperative programming.

you know how long it took a normal individual to go to school just to learn what he or she want to become in life, it too at least more than 20 years for an average, what makes us keep going is the goal that we are going to get there someday, that goes for programming too, don't be in hurry to know it all, else you're just endangering yourself, learn some syntax and try to use it to create something simple just like in mathematics to become proficient you need to solve a lot of exercise on that topic, and they're lots of that for you too in programming, one step compliments another just like in mathematics you need to know some topics before you can solve some particular problems, take does baby steps and enjoy the process

Drafter77 Take a look at my 5 part answers in the question post below. By Sure to sort By Date, then look for my answers posted back to back. I think this response is relevant to your question. Also, check out this article to understand what I mean about imperative programming and how that contrasts with declarative programming. https://tylermcginnis.com/imperative-vs-declarative-programming/ Having this awareness will help you understand why the leap from declarative languages (like HTML and CSS) to imperative languages (like Javascript and Python) is so different and more challenging for beginners. Understanding these differences should help set your expectations with learning the different types of languages.

Just keep practising the new concepts you learn everyday. Try to implement it too, build something no matter how basic it may seem. The major thing is to keep working hard to become better at what you do. You will get there! Do not lose motivation too!
