In my opinion, JavaScript is easiest, but it depends on what you want to do. You should also branch out and do things like python if you do JavaScript, or C/C++/C#. If you do Java, which is harder, try C# as well, their similar languages.

But if you want a starter, do JavaScript + JQuery, even if you don't think JQuery is useful, or easy, which it is, just do it

The really easy way is Python, it is easy to understand, no pointers, no brackets {}, No Semikolon. Datastructures are easy to handle, in General you need less Code to produce equal functions Like in C. It will corrupt you though, you will forget to use semikolons and brackets in other languages
