Should I do Polytechnic​ diploma in computer engineering from Mumbai for becoming a good programmer .

I live in Mumbai , Maharashtra and in Mumbai computer science diploma colleges is not available so should I do diploma in computer engineering from a local polytechnic college after 10th.
