Which extension do I use to save my python code ?

Please use relevant tags, your question was about Python, but your tags contains .html. Put Python in tags instead please ...

.html is the file extension for HTML documents, for Python you save the file with .py extension.

I know of HTML tags, I added it as a way to describe what I'm looking for. HTML uses the .html as an extension, so what does python use ?
