it is difficult for me to estimate what level High School math is, that differs from country to country (and in my country we even have a lot of different (about 10 to 12 different level of maths in secondary school). my advice certainly is is that you can’t have too much math when it comes to programming. Maths comes in handy all the time in different fields and besides that it teaches you ways of thinking. most HS/SS students/pupils think that you won’t need maths, but that is bogus. Maths teaches you wyas of thinking and gives you the ability to think in abstract ways. the latter is of immense importance in programming. stick with as much math as you can handle :)

Writing a spaghetti code or chatbot doesn't mean you have to be math genius. It's not all about math rather it is about logic and algorithms that you express through your code in the form of mathematical logic.

AI is a pretty broad domain. Some parts of it like machine learning, require a fair amount of knowledge in statistics, linear algebra, probability theory... math is important for those. I suggest you check out the SL course about machine learning and decide if it's for you. https://www.sololearn.com/learn/714/?ref=app I recommend also to use the search bar, you can discover a lot of posts about this topic. https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/1421356/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/375203/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/Discuss/1745312/?ref=app

I would say that you need more than high school math for that.
