Like Martin Taylor has precised, for go in "serious" android programming ( more control, more power, official and optimal way) you have to do it in Java/Kotlin and if necessary C++ BUT if you want experiment some scripting on android there are some apps that allow you to run python directly on device (QPython and PyDroid)

P.S. Though i know python and i like it, i am not a fanboy 😁😁😁
