Past lua programmer to new languages

Hi-
I am Leo and my first language was Lua and Luau for Roblox, therefore… Tables/lists started at 1 and now that I am learning JS and python, i am literally so sad that tables/lists now start at 0! Does anyone have any tips to adapt? 💔

Leo every language is different.. I too use Lua , fengari , and lupa ... As a coder and as you grow as a professional you will get use to the challenges and changes between languages the more you work with python c++ java c# and so on.

In your coding journal make yourself a note or two .... I have so many cheatsheets on every language I used over the decades.

I think it's better to start with c and then move to Java or python, my brother start with roblox and he found it difficult as well when he started college
