What are the things I'm deal with in machine learning?

I'm thinking of taking a machine learning curve but I'm not very good at mathematics. so I was worried if it'll involve high level math. also what exactly do we deal with in machine learning? what's the platform we work on?

Machine learning requires some higher-level mathematics, but rather understanding concepts, not necessarily being able to prove them. Just good to know what they are about :) Machine learning is about making predictions based on past data or finding earlier unnoticeable connections between your data, pissibly for making further predictions :) We are of course talking about big data, not consumable or comprehensible as a whole for human mind. A bit of maths, unlimited computation capacity - and all of a sudden you know so much more about the data you have ;)

If you are familiar with the concepts try the video course on coursera.org by Andrew Ng: https://www.coursera.org/learn/machine-learning That's a good start :)

thank you for the answer! I'm almost done with my software engineering so I've came across some higher mathematics in past. calculus and trigonometry included. if you had to compare the level of math required for machine learning, what would you compare it with?

thank you very much. I think I can handle these topics. I'll start machine learning soon 😀
