I don't think there's a definitive answer, maybe just read the Wikipedia article on the history of programming languages? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_programming_languages As Ada Lovelace is often cited as the first programmer though, that would make the language she used, the assembly-like instructions for Charles Babbage's never-actually-built Analytical Engine, the "mother of all computer languages", I guess :)

though the concept of typical programming languages, like loops, variables, decision statement, etc. can be traced back to the time alan Turing - when no "official" dedicated programming languages even existed, I would say that syntax wise c/c++ could be called "the mother of all programming languages". Not only can you can see their Syntax in a lot of languages these days, but c++ was one of the first who was successful in introducing oop concepts, like inheritance. Like a mother to a child, not only did all the other languages inherited c/c++ look but also their inner concepts. so, yeah, c/c++ is it!
