Best programming languages to get a job fast ?
I'm wasting my life jumping over so many things. I've decided to stick to and follow the plan. My goal is to get a job; currently, I'm learning React and JavaScript. I already know HTML and CSS. My doubt is, with my goal being to land a job, every time I review a job post, it's asking for more skills like TypeScript, Node.js, database, and more. Do I need to learn all of these or stick with React and JavaScript and master them? Give me honest advice. Life feels hopeless every day, and I don't want to live like this. I'm a fast learner, but I need a job urgently due to my situation. I have a BCA degree, and without proper guidance, I explored many things in the past, like web security and game development, but I didn't get any job offers

Hey, I totally understand how you feel. You're not alone â many people feel lost, especially when they urgently need a job. But you actually have a strong starting point: You already know HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and you're learning React. Thatâs a solid base for a junior web development role.
Real advice:
You donât need to learn everything (like TypeScript, Node.js, databases, etc.) all at once. Focus on whatâs enough to get a job, not on knowing everything perfectly.
Hereâs what you should do step by step:
1. Get solid with JavaScript and React â build some real projects (like a To-Do app, blog, dashboard, etc.).
2. Learn the basics of Git and GitHub â very important for jobs.
3. Understand the basics of Node.js and a database (like MongoDB or PostgreSQL) â just enough to talk about them.
+ 2
4. Skip TypeScript for now â you can learn it later once youâre more confident.
5. Build a portfolio website to show your projects.
6. Write a clear, simple resume (CV) and start applying for junior jobs, even if you donât feel 100% ready!
Remember:
- You donât need 10 skills to get your first job.
- Show that youâre a fast learner â thatâs what many companies want.
- You have a BCA and youâve explored a lot â thatâs valuable.
Please donât give up. A clear plan + focus = a job faster than you think.
If you need help with your resume or portfolio, I can help you.
You've got this. Honestly. But now: less jumping, more sticking to the path.

If you really want a job fast, look at what the market wants and learn that. See what's the most in demand language and go for it.
Seeing as WordPress and Shopify etc have a huge marketplace of the internet, learning what to do with one of those platforms could help.
