A client is any machine that connects to a server. A server does what else? Serves info to clients. A host is any device with an ip When you log into whatever social media site you probably use, your phone/computer is the client that connects to said social media's server so you are able to see your profile and whatever. Since all devices have ip addresses, they are technically all hosts.
