I guess it depends on your goal... If you want an interactive and responsive website or app then study also javascript and also learn CSS to make your application more presentable. Now if you only want a basic static webpage/ website or application then you can just enjoy Html/5. Hope this helps 😊👍

Of course, you can make static pages, it depends on page's goals, but I should say "yes" to JS. Just browse, how many interactive pages are on internet.

Css is quite necessary: it's the only way to customize style of your page and make it more attractive... Even with actual Css specifications/features you can handle some dynamics (animations/transitions) and few interactivity to your page. But for 'web apps', or advanced dynamics/interactivity, you need at least some javascript... but it's not << necessary >> ;)
