Python to Java

I am just curious how many of you who have switched from Python to Java have changed alot of python functions to methods as practice writing methods. For instance when I learned about System.out.println() .. I wrote a method to change it to print(). When I learned about Scanners, I wrote a method to make it function as input() And so on for each lesson. It helped me practice methods, syntax, and it helped me understand the java version of things because I had to figure them out to implement them

That sounds like a really good way to learn! I think I attempted Python, got lost during the list section, learned a bunch of other languages, learned java, and now I'm trying Python again

You've applied a very effective way of learning. I started Python once but didn't like their documentation style over Java and left it. Now I'm starting over again because I'm into Machine Learning and Python has excellent libraries for ML 😃😃

It's wierd. Python is regarded as one of the easiest languages to learn, but the python learning section was longer and harder than java. I will redo the Python lesson soon as the last half was hard to wrap my head around.

Yeah, Python is very easy to learn. I didn't like it earlier but now I'm into it. So far so good :D
