- Simplicity and readability go a long way. Try very hard not to make your website look cluttered.
- Choose your colours carefully and try to stick to whatever colour scheme you choose (for the most part).
- Try to keep elements aligned. It's subtle, but a lot of un-aligned can make a website feel "off", even if people don't understand why.
- Make sure you text is readable. Learning to use "ems" instead of "px" will scale text to different resolutions.
