The only selling point of Java is the portability, because it works in a virtual machine. The biggest flaw of Java is the slow speed caused by the virtual machine. In other words, Java sucks. It is only used in market because there are too many people that use Java.

C++ is a wonderful language, but it is not widely used like Java, Python or C#. The biggest flaw is its complexity, using a lot more code to generate the same program.
