What is usually the reason why you would decline a challenge on soloLearn?

If the amount of XP you could lose far outweighs the amount you stand to win. I just lost a challenge 4-5, and dropped 31XP, if I'd won I would have gained 2XP. Should have declined...

@Michael your advice on another thread was helpful to me...recommend challenges in other languages/higher level coders where risk/reward is better to balance risk in languages where you have done many challenges. You said you learned some new things that way too...which helped. Thank you. Ms. Mencia has also published an entire method of surviving the challenge issue. Its worth a look.

You can decline a challenge if you feel that you may lose.
