Java vs C++

Question

I have seen endless discussions on the internet about this topic. People are going out on each other to prove that their programming language is better. I want to hear your opinion on it. I might get downvotes for such a post but I don't care. I want to know which one is better for you? Java or C++? I want you to compare everything (performance, functionality, requests for it etc.).
