Download QPython (v 2.7.11 and v3.5.2 both available) from here:

http://www.qpython.com

or from the Play Store...

This will allow you to use the python interpreter and run programs in both console and script mode...

I guess you only want to use the interpreter for your own programs...

And, for Android app development, QPython will also help...
