Is a college degree important for job in a tech company ?? eg :Apple

hello guys !! anyone here wishing for an Apple career ? I do . But the confusion is that I don't have a computer science degree and have only an electronics degree in which I also have some back papers (failed papers). So technically, I don't have a degree. I am planning to learn objective c , alone with it can I get an Apple career ? do such hi-tech companies care about their candidates degree? or skills? which are the abilities they test ? what qualities I have to build other than programming skills ?

5 years ago a degree was a must have, today it makes almost no difference, they search peaple, who are good at what they do, it doesn't matter if you learned it 14 or only 5 years
