Question

What do you guys do to make one or more programming languages "stick" inside your head? I spend 6+ hours every day daily reading, studying, doing Java with my zyBook textbook or video tutorials and seem to retain nothing...

So what do you all do, what am I doing wrong? Learning should not be as difficult as it is and I should have more to show for my efforts than I can do.
