Why would you use or not use local storage?

I came across this article that is attempting to stop developers from using local storage unless absolutely necessary for security reasons. The author gave some good points. https://www.rdegges.com/2018/please-stop-using-local-storage/

silentlearner Ok! I read apx. 1/3 of the article and I got bored. Sorry! First, this phrase got my attention: "I don’t know what it is, exactly, that drives so many developers to store session information..." Not to hurt some feelings, but a JS developer is not a real developer. Sorry! Even, JS is the most popular programming language in the world, but let's get serious, a JS developer is a child to a C developer. 🙅‍♂️ See in the below post how hard is to make an archive to function properly: https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/2955475/?ref=app
