In my view, hacking is not about tools, but about an atitude of curiosity, of getting knowledge, of understanding things, how things really works and why.
This knowledge then , depending on the person can be used for good or bad.
Python is an easy to learn programming language. With great libraries that makes many thing simple and elegant.
I believe the elegance of python code makes programming fun and enjoyable.
This caracteristics, makes the programmer what to know more, to explore more.
C/C++ is not so easy. This can make some tasks seem dificult.
In my case, for example I started programming with C. But then I wanted to know how to make GUI in it.
When I saw that it was easier in other programming languages I started learning others.

Python is great because it keeps the fire burning.

I must also add that this depends from people to people.
