Is java preferable for beginners?

as a beginner is this preferable to learn java? I have some basic knowledge about c. . n didn't built up my logic strongly. if I start learning java is it possible to build up that logic?

if you have Basic knowledge of C then you can go for java.... :)

I am a student too and in my previous semester I studied C in my current semester we have just Finished basic java course .Both have similarities and the concept of C really helps in understanding java new thing in java is that it is Object Oriented Programming throughout the semester if u code each and every day what yo learn you will surely make it out!!!! :)

but there's an issue! I also prefer python n I started as well. . but problem is semesters! upcoming semester there's java in syllabus... what should I do now!
