Which language is good for web development (java or net)

I know core Java,and HTML and CSS .now studying js .if want to be web developers in future.
what is the language is must learn? what about c#?

You need HTML 5, CSS 3 and JavaScript 6 as starter. As main course you can use any JS frameworks Node JS, Express JS, React JS, Angular JS and many other things as main course. PHP, ASP and JSP is also there. Try Python also. As a dessert add Bootstrap 3 or Material design. JavaScript is the future in web development not the .Net or Java.
