Demand for Django is increasing very rapidly. Django is a very rich and strong web framework of Python 3. Basic knowledge on Python 3 and HTML is required to work with Django. Django now supports only Python 3 not Python 2. Django has Django-Responsive for building responsive website  Django-responsive a utility application for building responsive websites in Django. This tool is meant to complement the use of CSS media queries and help solve problems with fixed width elements such as advertisements or embedded video. https://learn.onemonth.com/ruby-vs-python/ http://danielhnyk.cz/django-vs-rails-for-beginner/ In my opinion based on few specific measurements both are best and great for developing web application. But learning Django could add more benefits on achieving some awesome skills i.e data scrapping, working with big data, geocoding etc. Although, you can do some of these with RoR but o found Python-Django is best for these task! Both framework has excellent extensions (RoR-gems/Django-modules) but Django has lots of exciting modules which helps to achieve project goals with less headache. Also, if we consider programming language for scientific research then Python comes first! So, learning path Python->Django could give you more career opportunity I.e developing web application, working on data science, machine learning etc.
